Tasting note: Sambuca Extra Molinari is a sweet, strong liqueur whose base consists of essential oils extracted through steam distillation of the seeds from the star anise, conferring upon the fruit a strong aroma of anise which is soluble in the pure state. To this whole is added a concentrated solution of sugar and other natural aromas, of which Molinari jealously guards the recipe. They are the secret ingredients which make Sambuca Extra Molinari unique in the anise-based liqueurs market.
