Rome’s most famous street food is now available in Adelaide, pizza cooked on rectangle trays sold by the slice. The dough is made using a traditional recipe from the mother yeast and left to leaven for 72 hours. 
This process produces a lighter, fluffier and very digestible dough ideal for pizza.  Fresh local and the finest imported ingredients make this style of pizza stand out from the rest.

Have you heard of Negroni Week? 

This year, Mercato is taking part and will be raising funds to our local Campelltown Rotary Club Charity. Each business that takes part contributes $1 from every Negroni sold throughout the week which will then go to their chosen charity. In true Mercato style, we will be going 1 step further with our contribution and giving 10% from each retail item and cocktail sold to the Campbelltown Rotary Club. The celebrations will culminate on Friday the 10th June at Bar Mercato with a Pizza al Taglio e Vino night (all you can eat pizza al taglio) where there will be a Negroni demo showcasing all the different versions of this beloved Italian cocktail.
