Zone: DOC of Falanghina del Taburno

Producer Info:

Situated next to the mountain of Taburno, Cantina del Taburno sits at an average elevation of 300m above sea level. Warm days and cool nights, coupled with the elevation, mean Cantina del Taburno produces native varieties (like Falanghina, Fiano and Aglianico) with brilliant results. Somehow this large organisation continues to produce wines with a sense of place, each of the varieties with their own trademark left by the Campania countryside

Tasting note:

Well made Falanghina like this, from best, higher vineyards is able to show all its subtle fruits of peach and apple, honeysuckle and herbs, with a touch of tight minerality – usually associated with far northern wines. A full, quite lush and nicely zippy palate completes a very versatile food white.
