Producer Info:

Owned by the Cambria family, the Cottanera Vineyards are planted on the southern slopes of Etna at a altitude of 700 metres. The unique lava-rich soil has given life to the native varieties of Nerello, Mascalese, Cappuccio, Nero d”avola and Inzolia.

The Barbazzlae Rosso is mostly Nerello Mascalese with small amount of other local varieties. It shows almost Pinot Noir like aromatics with a juicy textured palate.

Tasting note: It’s everything you could possibly want in a wine from the slopes of this beautiful place- fresh, loads of raspberry flavors, and a lovely zinging acidity.
