Producer Info:

An extraordinary family and estate, centuries in development, with Barbera vines well over 100 years of age and some of the oldest, best and most distinctive Moscato vineyards in Piedmont. A visit with Guilio Morando is one of the most charming in Italy. The Moscato is explosive.

Tasting note: This lovely Moscato, with its lightly bubbly, semi-sweet and gorgeous grapiness is distinctive of its commune, Castiglione Tinella, with delicious notes of sage and mint in the aromas. This wine, from vines planted back in 1948, is sometimes stunning to people, used to the vibrant fruit of Moscato… But maybe not this much!
