These are really bright, fruity and complex wines.

Tasting note:

Dark red cherries, plums, spices, menthol and new leather burst from the glass in the 2011 Barolo Giachini. Rich, weighty and powerful, the Giachini captures the essence of this ripe, intense vintage in its slightly bombastic, extroverted personality. It will be interesting to see how the 2011 shows once it has been bottled.
