MERCATO EATS: WINE & CHEESE - 8TH JUNE - $50 PER PERSON

Escape these cold and grey days of Winter with big and bold cheeses and wines of Italy! We have selected our favourite Italian cheeses and wines and will share with you their story. The evening will allow you to explore the cheeses complex flavours, their regions in Italy and how they are made and aged.

Chris Sarandis from La Cantina has carefully selected premium Italian wines that will both enhance and compliment each cheese.

MERCATO PRESENTS: MUSHROOM FORAGING TOUR & 2-COURSE LUNCH - 17TH JUNE

Mercato invites you to our very first Mushroom foraging tour in the Adelaide Hillswith local expert Kate Grigg.

When: Saturday 17th June 10am start
Where: Meet at mercato at 10am
Time: 10am - 2pm, bus will depart at 10:15am
What's included: A 2-hour guided tour at a secret location in the Adelaide Hillslearning about all the different types of mushrooms that grow freely and inabundance followed by a 2-course mushroom themed lunch with a glass of Italianwine to finish!
Price: $85 per person (includes bus transfer to the hills from Mercato)

BAR MERCATO EATS: PIZZA AL TAGLIO 29/06/2017 - ADULT TICKET

Join us for a night of unlimited pizza featuring our Pizza Al Taglio!
Our Pizzaioli (pizza chefs) make Rome’s most famous street food at Bar Mercato.  
The dough is made using a traditional recipe from the mother yeast and left to leaven for 72 hours.  This process produces a lighter, fluffier and very digestible dough ideal for pizza. The pizza is cooked on rectangle trays sold by the slice. We only use the freshest and finest local and imported ingredients which make this style of pizza stand out from the rest.

And to add to our pizza feast a live jazz quartet will be playing throughout the evening!
