Mercato's 12 days of Christmas presents: DIY Dolce

"Italian Dolce are, above all else, about family and simplicity. They are a tradition that, for a long time, was passed down only by word of mouth. Each region has its signature ingredients. In the north, its cows milk (mascarpone, butter & cream), grains (corn, rice and buckwheat), hazelnuts and chestnuts, and fruit (apples and berries). On Wednesday 14th December, we will be showcasing our range of dessert pantry items that you need to stock up on for a DIY Italian Christmas. Julia will be demonstrating how easy it is to make Cannoli as well as little lemon curd & mascarpone tarts. The sectret to making a good dessert at Christmas time is to buy good quality ingredients and let them do the talking! Come in store between 11am and 3pm to check it all out!
